Day 01: Bangalore to Ooty

Bandipur National Park: Discover the beauty of Bandipur National Park, where a Jungle Jeep safari is available (optional) from 6 am to 9:30 am. Renowned for its pioneering use of drones to track poachers, the park is home to diverse wildlife, including deer, elephants, bisons, black-faced monkeys, and more. Wildlife freely roams the roads, offering a unique experience. For those seeking a jungle jeep safari to spot tigers, departure from Mysore is recommended by 5:30 am.

Mudumalai National Park: Continue your adventure with a jungle safari available until 10 am. Choose the route via Gudalur to Ooty, passing through Masinagudi.

Gudalur: After a thrilling journey through the dense jungles of Bandipur and Mudumalai, take a well-deserved tea break in Gudalur. Now, you have officially entered The Nilgiris, where the Western Ghats meet the Eastern Ghats.

Frog Hill View Point: Marvel at the captivating Frog Hill View Point, a hillock with a distinctive shape resembling a frog, hence its name.

Needle Rock View Point: Experience the windy and cloudy ambiance of Needle Rock View Point, offering an amazing 360-degree panoramic view of the surroundings.

Pykara Lake and Pykara Falls: Optional boating is available at Pykara Lake, set amidst scenic surroundings. Explore the Pykara village and witness step farming, cabbage fields, and the cultivation of Ooty carrots and apples.

Ooty Lake & Boathouse: Visit the artificial Ooty Lake constructed by John Sullivan in 1824. The Boathouse provides paddle boats, row boats, and motor boats for a delightful experience (additional charges apply).

The Government Rose Garden: Discover the largest rose garden in India, situated on the slopes of Elk Hill near Ooty town. Enjoy the vibrant beauty of the roses in this enchanting garden.

Drive back to the hotel by evening. Overnight Stay in Ooty.

Day 02: Ooty Unveiled – Essential Sightseeing

Embark on a captivating journey through the picturesque landscapes of Ooty after a delightful breakfast at 8:00 am. Immerse yourself in the following must-see attractions:

  1. The Government Botanical Garden: Explore the sprawling beauty of the Government Botanical Garden, covering 22 hectares and standing as one of Ooty’s prominent attractions.

  2. Doddabetta Tea Factory and Chocolate Museum: Indulge your senses in the fascinating world of tea processing and chocolate manufacturing at Doddabetta Tea Factory and Chocolate Museum.

  3. Doddabetta Peak: Ascend to Doddabetta Peak, standing proudly at an elevation of 8652 feet. Revel in the panoramic 360-degree view that encompasses Ooty, Mettupalayam/Coimbatore, Avalanche Dam, and Mukurthi Peak.

Optional: Discover the renowned Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple in Palani, if you’re inclined towards spiritual exploration.

Arrive in Kodaikanal late in the evening, where you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, immersed in the tranquility of Kodaikanal. Revel in an overnight stay as you prepare for the enchanting adventures that await.

Day 04: Kodaikanal – Uncover the Must-See Attractions

Embark on a local sightseeing tour of Kodaikanal after breakfast:

Coaker’s Walk: Explore this man-made walking plaza, carved on the steep slopes of the mountain in Kodaikanal, offering panoramic views. Constructed in 1872 by Lieutenant Coaker, the walk stands almost half a kilometer from Kodaikanal Lake.

Kodaikanal Lake: Also known as Kodai Lake, this man-made lake in the heart of Kodaikanal City offers serene surroundings and a pleasant atmosphere.

Green Valley View: Enjoy a mesmerizing view of the surrounding area, promising a visual treat for tourists.

Pillar Rocks: Visit this must-see spot featuring naturally formed pillar-shaped rocks that captivate the onlooker.

Day 05: kodaikanal to back home.

Post breakfast, embark on your return journey to Bengaluru/Mysore or Coimbatore. Our driver will drop you at your preferred location, be it Airport, Bus Station, or Railway Station. The tour concludes with cherished memories. If time allows, additional sightseeing can be accommodated.
